I am pleased to reintroduce my classic bestseller, The Ishi Replica Arrow, made using traditional techniques and natural materials. Each arrow is carefully handcrafted, serving as a distinctive display piece inspired by historic North American archery traditions.
Each arrow starts with a hand-knapped arrowhead made from black obsidian. The arrowhead is then hafted with homemade pine pitch made from locally gathered pine resin, fixed with waxed artificial sinew, and sealed with hide glue for an authentic primitive look.
The shaft features locally sourced turkey feathers arranged in a helical pattern, giving it a distinctive traditional appearance. Each arrow is completed with hand-painted markings inspired by historic Ishi-style designs, ensuring that each piece is slightly unique.
