Introducting The Iceman Series, this small dagger is inspired by the simple stone blades carried by prehistoric Europeans over 5,000 years ago, including the famous dagger of Ötzi the Iceman.
This piece features a hand-knapped blade made from striking English Charmouth “Galaxy” flint, chosen for its beautiful natural inclusions and texture. The blade has been carefully shaped and mounted into a figured Croatian ash handle, allowing the natural grain of the wood to remain the visual focus.
The blade is traditionally set using pine pitch glue, echoing ancient methods used throughout the Stone Age and Copper Age.
Each piece in the Iceman Series is made individually in the workshop, meaning no two will ever be exactly the same.
This is the first dagger in the series.
