The very first of the framed arrowheads to leave the studio.
This framed piece is a replica of a tanged and barbed style Mesolithic arrowhead, commonly found in Europe. Working mainly with obsidian it felt right to work with flint native to my heritage. The flint used was gathered in Charmouth and has been aptly named "Charmouth Galaxy" as the inclusions and colours give the material a galaxy like appeal.
Set in a 12cm x 12cm frame ready to be wall hung.
