Palm Stones
The smallest objects made by Bowman Lithics.
Each Palm Stone is shaped by hand from obsidian thats been used in the creation of my lithic art. Each is polished to a deep mirror finish. Small enough to live unnoticed in a pocket. Solid enough to become familiar.
They are not moulded. Not mass finished. Each one is worked individually until the surface turns to glass.
Supplied in a simple black velvet pouch.
The Stones
Grounding Stone — Black Obsidian
Pure volcanic glass. Dark, dense, uncomplicated.
Ember Stone — Mahogany Obsidian
Black obsidian with natural red moving through the surface.
Reflection Stone — Silver Sheen Obsidian
Subtle silver tones appear when turned to the light.
Strata Stone — Banded Obsidian
Layered formations formed as the glass cooled, visible beneath the polish.
Spectrum Stone — Rainbow Obsidian
At first dark. In angled light, hidden colour emerges.
