Arrows & Arrowheads

The Arrows & Arrowheads collection explores the replication of real life arrow head types and arrow forms.

Each piece is built around a knapped arrowhead, shaped in reference to genuine archaeological types and traditional forms. Shafts are individually prepared, stained, marked with burnishing and pigment, and finished using natural bindings and adhesives.

Full-length arrows, single arrowhead and group arrowhead studies are produced within the collection. 

Every piece is supplied with an information sheet describing the referenced style or form, along with a Bowman Lithics card.

Arrows & Arrowheads sit between the functional and the symbolic — objects once made for use, now remade for study, display, and quiet appreciation.
